Danny Dyer vs the Big Bang
Thots TV are heading for the ultimate metaphysical adventure

Dyer: woven into the fabric of the universe
The Thots TV gang are back for another crack at the past and this time they are going way, way back - all the way back to the Big Bang.
And who better to lead the charge to the beginning of the universe than cockney geezer Danny Dyer?
Will the wisecracking EastEnder have things his own way as he swims breaststroke through the void? Is it legal to open a boozer in heaven? And will he fare any better in the Garden of Eden?
Tune in to PastMaster on Monday to find out…

Thots TV in the Garden of Eden: serpentine (L-R: Elsie, Meg and Laura)
Goldilocks mode unlocked

Goldilocks: good at coding
Our ongoing quest to create a game of PastMaster that is neither too hard nor too easy gets ever closer to success.
After a few false starts it feels like we’re getting to a place where our Game Master is finding the balance between fun and facts.
I used our Goldilocks Mode 5.0 recently for a game in Roman-occupied Gaul in 55BCE and I have to say it had the weighting about right.
Stay tuned this season if you want to Getafix of PastMaster… (wink wink).

AI in the news

AI: panic-inducing
The rise of the AI apps is the topic of this great article by the FT’s Richard Waters in which he points out that companies such as Bolt.new have gone from annual revenue predictions of zero to $20m in just two months.
He also suggests that as lots of these AI tools start to become essential to every aspect of generating digital content, many workers will start to fear for their futures if they don’t learn how to use them.
But the tech bros at OpenAI and Anthropic won’t have it all their own way because they are up against giants like Microsoft who have been integrating their software into customers’ business processes for decades, he writes.
Oh to have a crystal ball and see whether it’s all just another stock market bubble or a glimpse of the future…
