Dinner party disaster
S2E11: Stalin, Gandhi and Liz Truss walk into a bar…

Josef Stalin, Mahatma Gandhi and Liz Truss join a host of other famous and indeed infamous characters in next week’s PastMaster outing.
Testing our GameMaster’s mettle as a dinner party organiser, we head to the Palace of Versailles in a ‘time neutral’ zone. The aim of the game is to get everyone to see eye to eye (not easy with such divisive and disparate folk), or at the very least to just have a nice evening.
Foreign cheese features heavily, much to Liz Truss’s annoyance, along with a giant sausage, lobster bisque and iles flottante.
Social gathering from hell or much needed knees up? You decide.
The episode is out on Monday 29 January.

AI in the news
A model from Barcelona who was created by an AI earns up to €10,000 a month for her agency.
‘Aitana’, 25, has pink hair, is described as ‘exuberant’, and is routinely asked out by celebrities who don’t realise she isn’t real.
“We did it so that we could make a better living,” her designer Rubén Cruz explained.
Roleplaying Patrick Bateman on Tinder

American Psycho in the Tinder age (art by Midjourney)
An Instagram wag called Ethan Keiser recently picked up 500 women’s phone numbers after he programmed an AI to blitz online dating apps.
He took film quotes and got the AI to use them in automatic replies when women messaged his account, for example, boasting in the style of American Psycho Patrick Bateman that he could get them in ‘anywhere’ for a dinner reservation.
Until next time, Tan and the PastMaster crew
