Horseman's death wish
Nick Horseman goes berserk in a Grand Theft Auto-style rampage in ancient Mesopotamia

Horseman: bad intentions
In this episode, from PastMaster’s darkest vault, rapper and comedian Nick Horseman sets course for Ur in the ancient kingdom of Mesopotamia.
He has one thing on his mind: cause mayhem and achieve game over as quickly as possible.
Can you play Grand Theft Auto in Mesoptamia? What’s the best way to insult the guard captain’s mother? And how quickly can Horseman be thrown into jail?
Tune in to PastMaster on Monday to find out…

Horseman in the marketplace: gorging
Behold: the PastMaster globe!

PastMaster: jet setting
Ever wondered where in the world Keon head-butted all those Vikings? Or exactly when Ryan was getting trippy in Stonehenge? Well, wonder no more.
We’ve rustled up an Interactive World Map – the perfect companion for keeping track of our increasingly chaotic attempts to meddle with history. You can spin it, zoom in, give it a little wobble, and click through to each of the episodes if you want to listen.
Find out all about it all here.
It also shows just how West-centric our adventures have been so far. I mean dang! Look how big Asia, Africa and South America are… and yet so far they have remained largely free from PastMaster meddling. Not for long…
AI in the news

AI meteorologists: good at weather predictions
A single researcher with a desktop computer will soon be able to give accurate forecasts using an AI weather app that is tens of time faster and uses thousands of times less energy than current weather forecasting tech.
Aardvark Weather could make a tangible difference in specific industries or locations such as African agriculture or European wind speeds for renewable energy companies.
It’s another plus point for AI’s ability to do good. But what happens when there’s a catastrophic weather miscalculation? What’s going to be the AI equivalent of Michael Fish’s failure to predict the great storm of 1987? And who can we point our finger at when the AI gets it wrong?
