‘Uncle Claude’ corrupts impressionable nobleman Nick Horseman

This week AI chatbot Claude makes its debut on PastMaster. Yes, we’re cheating on ChatGPT with a sassier and apparently more conversational alternative.

Not to give too many spoilers here, but my word does Claude bring a different energy to the game.

We’re off to the Middle Ages with rapper and comedian Nick Horseman to try and get rich through the art of alchemy.

Will he discover the secret formula and get rich? Or will he be corrupted by our decadent and insane GameMaster?

A good news story for AI this week with a programme that can check CT scans for heart attack probability.

“This technology has now been tested at several hospitals across the UK and results have been tremendously encouraging,” says boffin Prof Charalambos Antoniades.

Just when you start to think AI is blindly planning to exterminate the human race, it throws you a little morsel of light.

We’re gearing up for another set of PastMaster studio recordings and wondering where our adventures could take us next.

It would be fun to discover the truth behind Atlantis and whether it was a real island superpower, or a morality tale invented by Plato.

Equally it would be fun to go up to the sky or even into space. How would the AI explain the big bang? I’m offering even odds between a description of lots of swirling gases and a man with a beard blowing the universe into existence.

Smith: regretting his decisions

I’ve mentioned this video before but it’s worth seeing again as a reminder of how crazy and nightmarish AI videos are.

Watch as Michael Jackson invites his friends Will Smith and Mark Zuckerberg over to make some pasta together.

It hopefully won’t be too long until we can start imagining PastMaster adventures through the medium of AI videos.
