I won’t reveal too much here, but I’ll just say that Mansa Musa doesn’t suffer fools gladly.

The London Office of Technology and Innovation has started researching the role people should play in AI functions in local government.
The ‘humans in the loop’ project starts from the premise that human beings should have oversight of any AI processes.
It’s considering whether people have the skill, time and capacity to make meaningful decisions and whether a lack of transparency could prevent good judgements.
Based on what we might call ‘the PastMaster experiment’, I can assure the researchers that you have to watch the AI like a freakin hawk.
