MC Wicked is back. Last episode, Tan talked his way onto the Woodstock main stage with nothing but beatboxing and robot dancing. Now he's standing in front of four hundred thousand people who are already very confused, and he has to actually perform.

The problem remains: Tan knows almost nothing about hip-hop. What he does know is Daft Punk's "Human After All," robot voice effects, and how to commit to a bit so completely that an entire festival stops wondering if he's having a breakdown and starts wondering if he's from the future. The organiser is frantically signalling time's up. MC Wicked, as established, literally cannot stop beatboxing. What happens next is either the birth of electronic music or the most committed public disturbance in festival history.

The Woodstock Music and Art Fair was already a defining moment in music history before Tan got there. After three days of rain, mud, and recreational chemistry, the crowd is primed for something they've never experienced before. Whether MC Wicked is that thing, or whether he's something nobody was ever supposed to experience, depends entirely on your definition of music. Part 2 of 2.
